i'm tired of talking about prom and formals and what celebrities wear on the red carpet.

so. street style.

what do you dig?

who do you dig?

pictures, comments, trends, untrends, whatever.

let's discuss.

black is good. half my wardrobe is black. as far as celebrity street style goes, and at the risk of sounding cliche, kate moss has an amazing sense of style.

It depends on my mood and the weather. I like warmer clothes, more northern style. I love trench coats and high heels are a must, whenever possible. I have really short hair so I sometimes wear head scarves or a wide brimmed hat. I like bohemian style too, like long flowing shirts and dresses.

I've always liked Kirsten Dunst's style.

I like scarves, skinnies, baggy shirts, sweatpants (haha), flip flops, shorts, etc.
You know.
Clothes?

i'm not sure what would motivate someone to buy ripped jeans, other than the obvious trend-whore reasons.

that aside, i have a pair of jeans i've had forever that have rips in them because they are so old, and i jsut can't get rid of them. it's a sentimental thing.

I second the jeans-with-holes comment. I got over that in middle school after I realized a Hollister and Abercrombie dominated wardrobe is NOT stylish.

Personally, I love classic, basic pieces with some visual interest (embellishment, fun buttons, MAYBE a sequin or two, etc.) And not to sound full of myself, but I have to say I am probably the most outgoing person in my school when it comes to fashion. I'm not a crazy wild dresser, but I'm the only one who's tried high waisted and wide leg bottoms. I would LOVE to see an end to Uggs, hoodies, logo tees and ripped jeans! =)

I like black and white, I don't change them, but also don't feel bad

when i see a person wearing crocs, i have to fight the urge to attack them. hideous, they are.

concerning uggs: ilovethem. there, i said it. i'm not ashamed. well, ok, i'm only a little ashamed. it's not like i wear them as a fashion statement or anything it's just that they are sooooo comfortable. if it helps i try to keep my ugg wearing to a minimum outside my house.

^i can understand the comfort thing with the uggs even though they're hidious. kind of like me and my unfashionable running shoes.

but crocs...idk how they can be comfortable even. they're like plastic. you'd think anyone who wears them would get horrible blisters.
