I have gone quite some time now without eating meat, I am proud of myself since I wanted to turn into a vegetarian for a long time, Now the problem: what can I eat? My family eats meat like everyday, and I am not the biggest fan of veggies. Actually, I hate them. Ironic is it not? Still, I can force them down my throat since I have to get used to them and the taste. Help meh |=(

Aw, I remember when I was a vegetarian. I had to eat meat again, because my doctors told me that if I didn't, my body would suffer because of it.

i've been a vegetarian for about a year now. A little longer.
I don't miss the meat. I don't like the veggie stuff either.
I eat a lot of fruit, vegetables and vitamine pills.

Wow that takes loads of willpower =] good for you...
We have quorn sometimes. They don't taste at all like regular burgers, but, unlike burgers...they're [obviously] vegetarian, and they're not like 90% grease. Eww macdonalds.
Erm tofu, soy bean curd?
Sorry I'm of no use.

OHHH! I can help you here! I have done the same thing, my family like has meat as their main course and were shocked when I became vegetarian, mostly just have meat supplements like vegetarian ham/turkey/burgers and what not, some iron supplements should probably be added because otherwise you'll suffer iron defficency

Are you one of those trend vegetarians?
Or are you a "meat is unsanitary" vegetarian?
Or a "meat is murderr" vegetarian?

I most definetly am not a trend vegetarian, I just find it wrong to love animals and at the same time slaughter them for food :/ I never thought vegetarians had a point until now... It all makes sense. No one around me is a vegetarian, and I used to cringe in the site of a vegetable, that's why no body around me believes I can continue this lifestyle, but I have news for them, I CAN and WILL!! I have been duped into eating my loyal friends, the animals. I don't eat my human friends <_< I choose what to eat... I do feel repulsed though (I hide it) when I eat with my family and see them eating meat or chicken or fish etc or with my friends at fast food places, I just get like fries and strawberry soda, I do drink lots of milk and water.

Thankyoooooou<3!!! Same here =O they thought I went crazy.. It was sad, I remember telling my friends... I didnt really TELL them, we went out to mc d's and we were ordering and I was last so when the dude was like :"may I take your order ma'am?"I was like:"Umm, I'll have a salad and some water and coffee please." then he was like okay and left and my friends were looking at me and were like: "your not going to get a burger?" I was all: "No, I don't eat meat anymore." They all literally froze =P It was funny and offending at the same time...

I could go for a Frankie & Benny's Manhattan Burger right now, two six ounce burgers (on top of eachother obviously), chesse and bacon on both, then LOADS of lettuce, tomato and sauce. What could be better?
Or maybe a nicely (still bleeding) cooked steak?

If noone ate their "loyal friends", our "loyal friends" would eat all our plantlife and we'd all starve.
