Your skin might be too sensitive. Try using acne products that are for sensitive skin.

acme and pimples can be controlled by eating foods low on the glycemic index.

Basically, try to avoid sugar. I used to have the WORST acme, but after stopping eating candy and soda, it all went away.

No acne treatment works.
Just wash your face [with toothpaste] daily.

Switch cleansers between bottles. Your skin sort of builds up "immunity" to the one you're on, so get a new one.

I just use soap and water...it works wonders.

Using acne treatments made it a lot worse for me. You may be the same way.

if clean and clear uses benzoyl peroxcide (which it prolly does) that might be killing your skin

try the Murad line. it uses salicyic acid as opposed to benzoyl and it cleared my skin within a week
if thats out of your price range as it is like $60 for a complete kit, try any product like neutrogena that uses saliciyic acid.

I used to have it quite bad and used all sorts of spot busting stuff that didnt work.
I now use st ives face wash for combination skin. Works wonders for me but each product works differently for everyone, you just have to find what works for you.

okay, I've tried EVERYTHING for my pimples and I mean EVERYTHING. Pro Activ only made me break out worse, most cleaners only irritated my skin and left it dry AND broke out. I think the trick is cleaning your face thoroughly but not overdoing it and stripping your natural oils. So... I got a good toner made by Joey. I got it at Ulta. It's about 40 bucks but worth ever penny and lasts forever. Any good brand toner I'm sure is good just as long as it's non-comedogenic and all that good stuff. I wash my face with regular old bar soap, nothing special. Then I follow it up with a cotton pad and that Joey toner. You'd be surprised how much dirt comes off your face AFTER you wash it! I do it morning and night. My face is clearer than ever and I haven't had a single pimple. I've had pimples for years and this is the only thing that has worked!

if you have pimples you them for a reason.
doesn't matter what acne treatment you use, they will keep coming out.
if i were you i would go to a dermatologist, but it can be expensive..

my advice? eat lots of carrots, or anything with vitamin A.
in a week or so you'll have a clean skin.

You should go to your doctor and ask for a prescription. Clean&Clear works for me, however (quick lesson in acne care if you care to read);

You get pimples from bacteria that gets into your pore, builds up, and then is killed by the natural acids in your skin. You're left with a white pus which is dead bacteria and residue, so if you are having extra trouble getting rid of acne, your doctor can give you a prescription that has Benzylperoxide which dries out the skin (you should look for this ingredient in most acne cleansers), and a little bit of antibacterial product to help kill more bacteria quicker, so it won't build up in your pores. (My little sister uses Clindoxy gel, you put it on your face overnight and wash it off in the morning). Make up can sometimes clog your pores too, which traps more bacteria in your skin. Make sure you buy foundation that is oil free and hypoallergenic.

Proactiv works well for some people too, but I find it makes my face extra red, and if you miss a day the pimples come right back. Also, it is pricey.
