I've been thinking of getting my eyebrow and lip pierced i've already had my ears, nose & belly button done they didn’t hurt too much but after my belly piercing the skin around there has gone numb and i had that done two yrs ago.

Has anyone had a brow or lip piercing with any trouble or are they pretty ok??

My eyebrow rejected.. rather horribly actually. But my lip has been fine, though the one went crusty for ages and moved a lickle bit.

Anything in particular you want to know?

eyebrow rings will have the tendency to reject because the purpose of an eyebrow is to catch dirt dust fluff shit from falling into your eyes so that gets caught in the piercing causing a constant infection and migration of the piercing. Eyebrow piercings can be high maintinence and if your a girl i suggest you get horizontal not vertical as you will look like a lesbian.

Before you get the piercing you need to take into consideration the rules around your life.. you dont want a piercing which your school will make you take out or work place will make you take out.

If your unsure what you want go get a fake ring/diamentes put it on your face if you like it get them done if not dont.

Lip rings arent hard to care for put youll just have a fat lip for a while.

Some times piercings do get rejected.

If you care good take of it then nothing bad will happen. and just try and not be 'rough' with the piercing.

Please, don't do the lip. Eyebrow is hot, lip looks like crap.

i have my right eyebrow pierced but its starting to reject now so i gotta take it out, so i had my left pierced yesterday, like someone else said they can be high maintanance, not all eyebrow piercings reject though.

I had my lip done about a fortnight ago, wasn't painful just a little nip when the needle went through. Haven't had any problems with it either, if you're going to get it just keep it clean and it'll be fine

Actually, that's the purpose of eyelashes, not eyebrows. I've had two eyebrow piercings for four years without a single infection--and let me tell you, I'm prone to having my body reject piercings. I clean them once a day, and change the jewelry twice a month. If you consider that to be a high maintenance piercing that's susceptible to infection, well...I don't know what to say.


Also, saying that vertical eyebrow piercings on a girl makes you look like a lesbian is an incredibly stupid thing to say. How can a piercing make a person look like they prefer the company of their own gender? :lol: GTFO.

I have had my eyebrow done for while without having any problems at all. Its actually been the easiest piercing to take care of. My lip I just got done last week. Things aren't going to badly. It just swelled for a bit. And its a bit crusty. Not the most gorgeous thing.

On the pain scale... I found my bellybutton to be a lot more painful then both my lip and eyebrow. They were both relatively painless. Just a pinch. The lip piercing is quite inconvenient sometimes though and it is taking me a while to get used to.
