I'd heard it was supposed to be really good, so I watched it.
I didn't like it that much. It kind of depressed me.

for the people who haven't seen it, they must, but, without expecting a plot or a typical hollywood ending. i personally like open ended movies - they have more of a "real life" feel to them

anyway,

dark comedy and smart dialogue, but, the real strength of the film are the characters

I don't really like Scarlett Johansson in it though, she wasn't as good as Thora Birch.

I really quite liked this movie. They made an amazing graphic novel into a great movie, which is hard to do. Even with the original author penning the screenplay.

And the movie doesn't have to be depressing if you don't look at it that way.

on the blurb its also says it is funny but i really dont think it is, there are a few one liners, on the whole i think it is really sad.

I love this movie. I loved Thora Birch in it and thought Scarlett Johansson was really good as well, even though she didn't get us much screen time.
The graphic novel is also good! Love the dialogue.
