gosh the way they film it makes me cringe like showing texts with words on the screen and using music after every set of adverts..they even put pictures on a card game a few weeks ago which arent would actually be on the card. it makes it unrealistic by making it unreal.#
one episode they used the marks and spencers advert which says 'this is not just food its m&s food' and changed it to apply to hollyoaks god that made me cringe it was so gay

the storyline is so badly written and why the hell is someone called 'john paul' and ENGLISH BOY. is there a rule that you have to be under 20 and good looking to be hollyoaks cause they all are..borin storylines badly written it sounds like its written by 16 year olds..how realistic is that blonde dumbo would be a police woman

lol thats true about john paul and how they always have beautiful people on it. Even the people who are over 40 are really good lookign as well.Eastenders gets actors mainly judged on their acting skills rather than looks though.

However i disagree with you, hollyoaks is a good soap sometimes it has crappy storylines and there are times where their storylines are REALLY REALLY good.

It was at the bottom of the hill when it started so I don't know how much worse it has got. It's just a got a lot of Eye-Candy.

I live in Chester where it's filmed, nobody I know watches it, It has always been shit and will never be as good as Coronation Street or Eastenders :D Plus why is everyone on it so good looking? Yeah good looking but crap at acting :D It makes me laugh it's so cringe worthy :D

I think they get most of their money from the Hollyoaks Hunks, and Hollyoaks Hunnies Calendars.

they think using beautiful teens will make it appealling but it only appeals to stupid 15 year old girls..every soap is far fetched by corination street and eastenders are well more realistic and entertaining because its real life

I could write a better sitcom if a broom was dipped in brake fluid, and shoved up my arse, I was then place on a trampoline in a moving lift, and used pictures of the resulting mess on the walls to determine the plot.

It is total shit but I don't see the issue with the name John Paul. I know English people who have the name...
Anyway the best option is to just not watch it. I'm also sure that the main market for the show is students rather than 15 year olds, though I'm sure they do take some of the blame for the show.

It's SO bad! I watched it once and it opened with them reading newspaper headlines that were related to there storylines, switched it off soon after that! Too much cheese
