Get it! It's awesome. As long as your parents won't kick your ass and never let you go anywhere like another country ever again... lol.
Mine hurt like a biotch cuz I had mega scar tissue to poke through because in elementary school I'd pierced it myself a couple times. (Don't do that.)
It's worth it though just make SURE you maintain it. I highly suggest if you can't bathe in the ocean everyday, use distilled water + sea salt, which you can buy anywhere!

Molly REALLY REALLY doesnt want you parents to kill her for letting you get it...

It's kind of trashy in my opinion.
But you do what you want, as long as your parents don't mind...

I like playing with girls pierced belly buttons.
No reason for you to know that.
I say go for it!

and i fainted lol
and it fell out again so im leavin it now
i think it looks nice on sum ppl but i think sum ppl show it off 2 much and it looks tacky
my bf didnt like mine
but it depends on the person
although it didnt hurt me first time .my m8 fainted her first time

I didnt even feel them pierce mine....
I like mine and I think it looks good on me, but thats all up to you...make sure you watch them pull a sterile needle out of a sterile package and that you take good care of it

of course it hurts. Biting your tongue hurts, grazing your leg hurts. you cant have a needle shoved through your skin without it hurting but it just depends on how you handle pain.
if you want to get it get it if not dont but it isnt permanent and look after it.

Get it. What have you got to lose?
It hurt, alot. But really, it's only for like 10 seconds, but it's something worth going through.
I cleaned it properly for about a month. After that, I got lazy. I just clean it whenever it gets sore nowadays.

i've heard from a lot of girls that the clamp hurt more than the actual process of piercing
and i'm sure it hurts worse after you get it done. like, later that day. it'll probably be sore.
but if it's something you want, there's no reason you should let the fear of it hurting overcome your want for it..

I love mine, now that it is healed. However be prepared for a long healing process (mine took about 6 months), even though people say that it's 6-8 weeks. Pus and crusty stuff is normal, just keep it clean with sea salt water mixtures, and actually i found that putting ear piercing cleaner on it worked very well to speed up the healing near the end.
They're great, get yours done if you want it :)

i like them.
it doesn't hurt that much, the actual piercing anyway. have you had your ears pierced? no worse than that, better even if you had them gunned.
just make sure that you find an exceptional shop. it's really easy to walk into a shitty place! you don't want that experience.
the healing can be quite painful though. and it takes AT LEAST 6 months to heal. don't change your jewelry before this. if you're opposed to this long healing time and know that you'll change your jewelry too soon or won't take care of it the entire time...don't get it done.
maybe you should get an easier piercing to care for and heal first, because navel piercings can be a bitch to heal!
a tongue piercing is much easier.
but i'd say that if you want it, go for it! just do it right!

oh threadstarter, don't put anything on the piercing but uncented antimicrobial soap, noniodized sea salt, and emu oil.
everything else is bad for it. forget about all of these piercing cleaning washes...just no. they are bad for the piercing.

Why dont you just get your parents consent and have it done in the states?

well it hurt for about 3 months for me, but it varies from person to person, as does the amount of pain.
if you really want it, you'll get it done anyway, the pain isn't so bad as to make it unbearable.
bmezine is a great place for personal accounts...just google it and you'll find the site. i can't remember if it's a .com or what right now.
but really, you should concern yourself with finding a great place to be pierced and familerize yourself with the proper piercing process...these are probably the most important things to find.

Just depends on your pain tolorance. Mine only hurt for a couple days but it hurt to bend over, have anything touch it, and i also go my cartilage done on the same day so it kinda took away the focus on some of the pain from my belly. The best thing to do is talk to people who actually have it done. Get their opinions...but honestly its different for every person. Just make sure where you get it done isnt a shift place.
