1. Shampoo with herbal essences hello hydration
2. condition with brilliant brunette conditioner
3. Apply a heat protector (redken usually)
4. Straighten with a wet to straight stargithener

honestly the wet to straight thing really fries my hair so try to straighten when dry also try fructis shampoo and conditioner it's really good one more thing at least once a month do a deep conditioner or a hot oil treatment.

i have the same problem with my hair. when I straighten it, it never seems to stay flat it always seems to go 'straight afro'. I think I'll start using leave-in conditioner on my hair after i've washed and conditioned it. maybe it might work but I don't know.

i do the same thing.
same shampoo.
only i use a chi straightener that is ceramic so it doesn't fry/damage your hair and it leaves it super shiny and soft.
i would reccomend that starightener.

I would maybe try drying your hair before you straighten it, just so that it doesnt fry

dont use wet to straight. use and ionic straightner and blow it dry first.
also put on a smoothing serum like aveda elements when you're done to mke it more moisturized and heathy looking

Get a new straightener.

Throw down some cash for a CHI or a GHD.
They are the best and won't fry your hair.

i usually have reeeeally frizzy hair, but this is what i do:

products in the first 3 steps are from Lush
products in all other steps are from salons

1.) use a pre-shampoo treatment called "The Strokes", leaving it on for 20 minutes
2.) wash that off, then use one of their shampoo bars (Godiva is good)--not liquid shampoo
3.) use an anti-frizz conditioner called Coolaulin
4.) when i'm out of the shower, i use a little bit of straightening balm, but not too much or else hair gets oily
5.) i blow-dry my hair on a low setting
6.) i straighten my hair with a ceramic-panel flat-iron
