which is better a zune or an ipod? tell me the good and bad things about each. and do i have to have windows vista if i get a zune? probably stupid questions but oh well and please dont give me stupid answers i just want serious ones

The first is a stupid question for two reasons.

1) You haven't told us what you're looking for in a player
2) You're only asking about the two trendy players rather than all players across the board

As for the second question, I believe it will work on XP if you have the latest version of Media Player.
