all of the above, save roll back. i'm unsure of the exact driver causing the problem.

What have you updated recently? Or any new hardware. Which os do you have?

what are in your boxes?
first two boxes say just that, and the last box reads 'vpctcom.sys'
i've tried multiple things now having posted on this forum here ('http://www.techsupportforum.com/microsoft-support/windows-xp-support/213599-dreaded-blue-screen-death.html'), so that should give you everything you want to know so far.

I read the forum, link you provided, and I don't think the speakers had anything to do with your problems. What type of connection do they use? Regular stereo wires in to a regular stereo out (basically the same system mp3 players use)? Other than that I don't think I could be much help, I've never encountered a blue screen before, it sounds crazy but it's just never happened to me.

the DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL means its a driver problem. from a a quick google vpctcom.sys is a PC Tel modem driver. why dont you try updating/reinstalling/removing the driver? look on the manufacturers site, MS doesnt keep a repository of all third party drivers. try removing the card if its a pci modem. try disabling the device in the device manager. if its an onboard modem there will probably be a bios option to disable it.
