Okay, I'm 14 and I have stretch marks on my upper thighs and behind my leg under the knee! People say that all teenagers get stretch marks, but why are other girls in my school able to wear short skirts without theirs being seen??!? Is there anyway to hide the stretch marks? Or a way you can remove them? I have bad knees too, [they're dark and bumpy] and around my ankles it's dark and bumpy too.. AND i have some in grown hairs... My legs look like crap and I need HELP:cry: ! So please reply? :pink:

Erm...Try visiting a dermatologist or something. Perhaps they can prescribe some type of medicated lotion or something for you. Yeah, I don't know why stretch marks are so popular. My mom says you can get them from wearing jeans. Like if they are too tight or whatever. Because I'm so skinny, I don't own any really tight jeans. I still suggest that you see a doctor about it. Or just don't wear slutty skirts like "the other girls". Or if you do, you can just wear tights or pantyhose with it or something. Just a suggestion. I have no idea how to help, really. Good luck! :D

Really? I thought you couldn't get rid of stretch marks. Only like fade them a bit. I don't know.

i think you can. My ex gf used to use it everywhere and everyday and everytime and she had like... perfect skin and everything...

whoever told you that all girls have them lied :\
a lot of people do b/c they lose or gain weight but not all
just use lotion a lot or see a dermatologist if its too bad

I have them on my ass because all the weight I gained back after I got "healthier" just decided that that is where it wanted to go. UGH! >.< Anyway, I use cocoa butter but it won't get rid of them. I don't think anything really gets rid of them. They will fade until they are virtually unseen though, especially if you are young. And whoever told you all girls get stretch marks did lie to you. =/

Other than Cocoa butter any other creams you suggest? And when you say Cocoa butter do you mean creams infused with it? Or the real thing?

Cocoa butter & Vitimin E oil (or something).
Exfoliate your legs and use a body brush every day. And try WAXING rather than shaving. Because these lumps are as you said - ingrowing hairs and/or skin irritation.. And shaving, especially with blunt blades, is the main cause..
Tone up.
And then get a fake tan?

The dark spots is just dead skin. When you're in the bath/shower try rubbing around your ankles and knees. Dead skin will come off.
Like another person said, not all teenagers have stretch marks. Stretch marks are a result of sudden weight gain or growth. People usually get them on their breasts, upper thighs, and butt.
You can try bio oil to try and lighten them. With time, they will fade.

Buy Vaseline Cocoa Body Butter.
Use it every day after you exfoliate and shave.
Also, buy Jergen's Holiday Skin (I don't know if that is the name in America, but it's like a moisturizer that builds up a gradual tan/healthy glow....no orange streaks or weird smell...good stuff).
Then work out. Use the elliptical trainer or StairMaster....

Okay, thanks I'll try using the Cocoa Butter + Vitamin E Oil and the Vaseline Cocoa Butter. The thing is I'm really surprised why I got them :S I'm 92lbs... and in the past 2 years I've only gained maybe 10lbs? Is that enough to make your skin stretch? And is there any prevention other than creams that help in keeping more away like exercising? Any special kind of exercising? Anyway I can't get a fake tan because I'm already dark. I'm East Indian. I use creams to make my face fairer and I've tried them around my stretch marks so they appear less visible. I think it seems to work, it takes a really long time to get your legs fair compared to your face... probably because the skin on your legs are thicker and stronger maybe. Anyway I'm really great full for all your suggestions. Thank you :)

i think exercising makes more appear lol... unless that's just bulking up with muscle... can't hurt to tone abit right? :P

do lots of legs exersise
coz i had them realy bad but not as bad now
and also its just when ur legs are growin faster then ur body
ur body will catch up (bi this i mean u willget taller nd the strecth marks will fade)
or if u want to wear a short skirt
just wear tights or put alil of luquid foundation on the marks

No I'm not anorexic. I'm just thin and very short. 5'0 and 92 lbs... I don;t have an eating disorder because I eat well (not too little not too much)
