I stumbled onto this movie by accident.
I dunno why, but I kept watching it but I'm glad I stuck with it through the first 20 minutes because it gets really good.

The movie it self is about a little boy named Shaun from the ghetto's of England. He's always getting picked on and has no real friends. One day he meets these older kids who sympathize with him and welcome him into their group, which turns out to be a very "weak" skinhead group.

Later on, the old leader of the group gets out of jail and comes back trying to brainwash the group with his radical and racial lectures. The group is split, Shaun is stuck choosing which side to go on.

After the point where the old leader shows up, the movie then starts to build up a lot of tension between the groups, you get this sense that it's all going to explode violently at tend, that had to be my favourite thing about this film, the way it ended, where nobody is the winner and everyone learns their lesson.

Anyone else watch it?
Thought it was pretty boss.

I made a thread about it.

Quite liked it. Not so much the ending, though.

Oh shit, mind giving me the link to thread?
I actually liked the ending.
It was shocking, which is the best part.
Felt bad for Milky though... =/

There's something interesting I read about this film which the audience aren't suppossed to pick up on.

The guy who does the killing(don't know his name) at the end is actually half black in the movie, and it's jealousy along with many other complex emotions that leads him to do it, not so much hatred.

It's actually quite apparant when you watch it through again, though nothing is taken away from the viewing experience if you don't know this.

He doesn't look "White" that's for sure...but I thought it was just because that's the best actor they could get...

He goes into rage because he's jealous that Milky has a nice family, and a good life...after Milky says his dad is awesome and not like some shit dad's, Combo turns on him after he fires back "Oh yeah, so what makes a shit father then?".
