Any tips on getting pale, white skin? I think it's beautiful and unique compared to everyone tanning. I want to achieve this;

I understand like minimum sun exposure and sunblock, but what else?

I'm fairly sure that short of bleach (which you should NOT use) there's really no way to 'get' pale.

Make sure you exfoliate and moisturize, and yes, sunblock. Lots of sunblock.

A lot of it has to do with your heritage. My father is Italian, but my mother is of Scottish/Irish/British descent, and I have PALE skin and freckles all over. I have friends that tan very easily and friends that don't tan at all. So, yeah... it just depends.

Good luck! Glad somene else likes pale skin. I'm stuck with mine but I've come to like it.

I have pale skin because of my heritage. I'm from the far north. (FINLAND!) I don't really think their is much you can do but stay out of the sun.

Just sunblock, really, and I guess you could try a shade of foundation that's slightly lighter than your skin color (but not too noticeably)

I think people usually look most beautiful with their natural skin color.

you can't, your genes determin your natural skin pigment.

you could always dress in black and hang out with darker people to make yourself look paler.

Don't know. I always had pale skin, I don't remember myself doing anything about it. The only advice I can give is stay home for about two weeks, stay out of light and eat less. :) At least give it a try.

^Hey, I'd LOVE to be paler. It looks cooler with my hair than when I'm tan & I certainly like it a lot more.

well i'm rather pigmentally challenged so i can't really help although i did notice that once when i was cleaning my bellybutton ring with peroxide i spilled it & it took all the tan off of my stomach!
so i invested in some veryy light self tanner to fill it in...

but i don't recomend soaking youself in peroxide, although you will be very sterile...

First off you're not suppose to clean your bellybutton ring with peroxide. Second off, it did not "take the tan off", it just removed your dead skin. I suggest just exfoliatiing your stomach.

She's obviously an idiot.

I have pale skin like Dita's and the dark hair as well, but it's natural though.
Anyway, I've heard that rubbing lemon juice on your skin lightens it up.

I never thought that there were people who actually wanted to be pale and not tan. I have pale skin, and I always wished it was a little darker. I can't tan. All I get are freckles. >=(

Or sunburn.

Eek.

Why? I have some Asian friends. And they have beautiful skin. And they don't complain about it.

Pale/white unblemished skin was a sign of prestige. It signfies an easy life (not having to work hard and/or outdoors).
