Has anyone had Microdermabrasion done, does it work like to remove acne scars and make skin look better, does it hurt and is it noticeable if you have had it done

I got a free one once (the Neutrogena kind) and used it. I never had acne scars, so I don't know if it removes them, but it felt soo good and made my skin really soft and glowy.
