I have a couple pairs of jeans I bought yesterday and they're boot cut. I've always got straight leg and they go all the way down to the bottom of my shoe. These pairs, however, don't go all the way to the bottom. They don't get stuck at the tongue of my shoe and they don't look that bad but what are your opinions?

bootcut jeans are very good. most of my jeans are bootcut.

Depends what I'm wearing them with, really. For a while, I used to feel silly wearing them coz I thought they were really out of fashion, but then I realised that they're jeans and jeans never g out of fashion! I wear them on occasion;]
