The poem is about where you did something to yourself that was wrong, and someone is just makeing it much more bad everyday, and you are in tears, pain, and sorrow, but in the end of all of that, you have to tell yourself to let it go, and move on up, and don't let it get you down.

Move On Up.

I held my breath back,
As the son turn black,
And all I could of done is lie to Jack.

I gave myself up,
I could of lighted up,
But I just was too tied up,
By your words you cleaned up.

This time I say,
I won't give it up today,
I'll fight in my own way,
So don't try hurting me the next day.

I gave it all up,
I want to go back, but times up.
Let my tears fill up,
But you'll know it won't let you up.

I hope everyone will see,
The way you were to me.

I gave myself up,
But I can't let myself freeze up,
I have to move on up!
