Dont you HATE it when you go to the salon to get your hair cut and stuff, and they make it look PERFECT, but you can never make it look like that again?
Would investing in a really good blowdryer help this? My current one only cost around $40. Should I also get one of those rounded brushes?
Should I buy salon shampoo too? I already have a really good straightener and KMS Serum, and heat protectant spray.

I hate that soo much. I've been spending days trying to get my hair the same way the stylist did it.
Well it depends on the type of blowdryer you have. If it works well and is doing its job correctly, why invest in a more expensive appliance.
I have a few types of shampoo's and moisturizers that are the same type as the ones at the salons. Everytime I go I just keep a lookout for the bottles and see what their using on my hair and stuff. It wouldn't really hurt to ask them I think =]

I hate that too.
I know for me at least part of it is that when it comes to hair and makeup a monkey can do better than I can...and stylists are like trained to make your hair look perfect...and i think another part of it is that they use different products...like shampoo, hairspray, straightener...etc. than you have.

okay well just think....i think its way easier to do a cool hairstyle on someone else's hair...doing it on ur own hair is awquard considering u cant reach all the way around ur head and u cant really see behind your head comepletely...thats just why i dont sweat it too much i find other hairstyles that im capable of doing, tehe ^.^

mmmm... my hairdryer isnt doing a good job! Mine makes my hair go frizzy, and the one at the salon has a special end on it, it makes my hair look perfect without straightening.
I might go to a salon and ask what blowdryer they use.
Thanks everyone!

I'm the exact opposite. I hate how salon's style my hair.
When I go for a haircut, I bring some gel and run to the bathroom right after to fix it.
