s'cool.
depends on what you mean - stereotypical plastic-as-your-hair my-eyebrows-are-drawn-on look-at-my-massive-boots i-have-a-glowstick-embedded-in-my-leg, then no. but i know lots of people that do.
they make their own hair falls and most of the clothing but the boots and skirts are bought, usually off ze internets.
yes - depending on what you want. making stuff is easy but you have to know how.
etc? don't dress the part if you don't want to get into "the wrong crowd", it's a generalisation but 7 out of the 10 or so "sybergawfs" i know are constantly on LSD. =p

^both of wikipedia
and in response to Muddykins i dont think i would ever go that far
but i like the...flamboyancy of the look...like, almost, in the case of the candy ravers, the nostalgia of dressing up in kids clothes...cybergoth is just my goth+nerd-iness coming together
plus...the raver look, imo is awesome for clubs, plus the UV of the cybergoth
so i would really blend them
and...no drugs!
lol, seriously, that stuff is unnecessary imo
k, im done, peace

I normally don't dress like a candy kid in public, but when I actually go out to raves, I'm in the full attire.
Where do I buy my clothes? Good thing about dressing in candy kid attire, is being able to go all out crazy colors all the while looking awesome. Pretty much I might wear a wig, from any party store. I get my clothes from any store as long as I can mix them up together. I buy alot of stuff at this chinese mall we have here in Canada, Ontario- alot of it is japanese street fashion.
Then come the endless amounts of 'candy'. Beads, necklaces ect that you can buy from anywhere and make yourself. Of course you need to have a cute stuffed animal bag you can find at Walmart. Pucca, pokemon, spondgebob, Gloomy, ect.

Yeah pretty much. It doesn't always have to be bright colors.
Just the clashing between colors.
Don't forget your colorful stockings and gloves.

I hate the "cyber goth" thing. It's really annoying.. I don't know why they have to associate themselves with the goth scene.. All they do is overrun the goth scene with crap electro/EBM/whatever music and neon colors. Last time i checked, "goth" clubs were supposed to be for people into goth music... not stuff that's basically just repetitive spooky raver music that goes oontz-oontz-oontz. I don't have a problem with the people themselves who like that sort of thing, i just think they should stop associating themselves with "goth".. It's obviously a totally different thing altogether. Most people in the scene who are actually into Goth, Deathrock, Post-Punk, and all that stuff that's actually RELEVANT to "goth" just complain about them. Keep the rave out of my grave.

I somewhat agree with what you are saying. The fact that the 'goth' in 'cyber-goth' have to associated with one another.
The 'cyber-goths' which I just like to call RAVERS, around my area dress the way goths do, even without the neon/bright colors. So it is easy for people to relate them to goths when they are not.
However, at many of the raves they attend, Death metal/punk/ect collaborate with Techno and trance. That would be a perfect categorization for 'cyber-goths'. Makes sense.
Personally I don't care. Candy kids, goths, cyber goths, techno-vampires, ravers- if they rave they are all the same to me. And you can't be ignorant as to say cyber-goths don't listen to rock or death metal.

^^hey i didnt care about ur lil paragraph there
i was just getting annoyed that ppl were bitching in the thread, at least u answered my questions
and ya, this big dispute comes down to cliques, and even though cliques have some things in common, the ppl within them could be extremely different
