Drink lots of water and always have chap stick on. Even while you're sleeping. Burt's Bees is good, but I also like the Lip Butter from The Body Shop. It stays on for a long time.

CARMEX. Get the kind that you squeeze out of the tube. They sell it @ wal-mart for like a dollar.

Vaseline (petroleum jelly) is the best for dried lips. Chapsticks don't compare.

If you put Vaseline/Chapstick/etc. on your lips and leave it for a couple minutes, Then "scrub" them with a toothbrush, It gets rid of the dead skin, and makes them really soft.

Just remember to re-apply after you scrub.

In my experience with using vaseline it makes your lips dark and dull looking

firstly, to get off dead skin from your lips rub a mixture of vaseline & brown sugar on your lips. then, wipe it off with a facecloth soon after.

now you're starting with smooth lips. then, to maintain this, use a medicated lip balm or conditioner. i use MAC's lip conditioner & blistex together.

^I've heard soft lips is good.

When mine's really, really bad and I'm at home I just use this medicated ointment stuff, but I think they stopped selling it, which sucks, because it's amazing.

I have an Aveeno Active Naturals Essential Moisture Lip conditioner/protectant, they do a fair amount of skin care products it's actually really good, and it smells/tastes nice!

It's cheaper in he store, like $1 something.
I'm just showing you what it looks like. It's great. Not sticky at all.
