No matter what your size people have an opinion on what your wearing.
Stick a pair of jeans on ; if you feel great in them - go for it.

I'm underweight and I look terrible in skinny jeans, because I'm not tall, and they make me look shorter. You need to have long, slender legs to look good in them.

I don't think you have to be super skinny to wear them, but once you're around 15+ pounds overweight, I think they tend to look pretty bad. :shrug: There are rare exceptions in my opinion, though.
If you're slightly overweight, but you have a really proportioned body, they can look fine on you.

I think it depends how you wear them. I'm not super skinny but I can pull them off if I wear a longer shirt that falls to about 3" below the hip.

However, short people should just not wear them.

skinny jeans are flattering on a lot of people, big or small, because they make your legs look longer and leaner. imo, stick skinny people should wear looser pants so they're gross twig legs don't stand out so much

Skinny jeans look better on slimmer people because they draw attention to legs and thighs . However you dont have to be super skinny to wear the jeans you just have to be toned and have a good figure because the skinny jeans hug your curves so there is not much you can hide and if there is fat hanging out, it will look very unflattering.

I think you HAVE to be at least 5'6" to wear them, or you look like a midget.

And if your chubby or overweight you shouldn't wear them, so anything over 130lbs.

I love 'em. But, they only look good with flats imho. I'm around 5'2. Do you think they'd make me look taller? I only weigh like 105lb

For ME... Skinny jeans look shit on any1.. 4real.. ive never looked at a person wearin skinny jeans n thought it looked good lol not even in the magazines..i dno.. personal taste i guess :)

Just because skinny jeans tend to accentuate the thigh area; ergo, if you have chunky thighs, you'll look like you have turkey legs.

i was watching how to look good naked, and gok had this woman on there that wasn't skinny in the least.
instead of skinny jeans, because she wasn't skinny but it was the fashion, he put her in straight leg jeans.
they looked really good.

get straight leg jeans instead of skinny jeans if you're not skinny.
& wear a top that doesn't sit at the waistband of the jeans.

I don't think anything looks good on really skinny people, that including skinny jeans.

I'm not skinny and only 5'3", but I have pair of black ones that look awesome on me. Since they're black, they conteract my pear-shaped-ness, and since they're skinny, they enlongate my legs. So I actually think they make you look taller, not shorter. And as mentioned earlier, a longer top helps de-emphasise the hip.
But yeah, white wash super-tight jeans (usually) can only be pulled off by the runway shape. xD
