Hey guys, my semi formal is coming up! I'm wearing black dress pants with black shoes. Also I'm going to wear my black Dolce belt with my pants! I want to get a stripped shirt I could wear that is Abercrombie then get a tie for it! Anyone have any ideas on colour schemes or how I will get the tie to match the shirt? My skin will be tanned by then and I am tall and have the dark features working for me!

Black shoes + black pants + black shirt = Not good. Go with the light blue shirt, and really almost any color tie you want? I'd go for a solid color though, loud patterned ties look kind of lame most of the time. Especially if this shirt is already striped. Thoughhhhhhhhhh, I really recommend a solid shirt. :crap: I don't like striped shirts with ties, personally. It looks too.. busy. Then maybe you could get a striped or a basic patterned tie to make it more interesting?

HaHa, We had a Thanksgiving Dance for school on Friday, And I wore Black Pants, Bright Yellow Converse, A Red and White {kinda checkerboard patterned} Shirt with a Bright Yellow Tie, And my boyfriend wore basically the same thing. And everyone said we looked AWESOME.

I kinda liked it....! It was REALLY standout-ish.
But I HATE ambercrombie, Hollister, AE, all those shitty preppy stores.
