Hi I haven't found a tread on the K850i which i found suprising so i thougt i would start one.
I am a lucky owner of this great fone and have to say it is awesome.
The camera is the main thing that will attract people I would think and it doesnt dissapoint!
The quality is definately what you would expect from 5 megapixels. The images are crisp and the flash is really useful, just like on a real camera!
I have read quite a few negative reviews about it but i dnt get all the negativity, this fone is class! I love the touch sensitive buttons and have taken to them so quickly it is hard to use normal buttons on my other fone lol. The camera is great along with the flash, i also think te fone is really suarve and sophisticated looking. I will be honest though, I was expecting a few more features and also the buttons are a bit small and the casing a bit tacky feeling and picks up too many finger prints etc. However, these are minor issues and dont really spoil the fone but just could of been improved before releasing, oh well. This mobile is great and on o2 for 35 quid with the fone free is a great deal, no network logo or dedicated network key either which is good. I love sony ericssons and this has done them justice!!

The flash is just OMFD, try taking a picture in complete darkness and then look at the picture taken, it's scary how good it lookms

what sort of features where you expecting?

Just to brag about myself, I took the phone out two weeks ago, on O2, £35 a month, free phone, 600 mins 1000 txtx, but I cancelled it because I wanted the green striped version and it was only exclusive to Carphone warehouse, so yeah I took out another contract just because of the colour :smile: at the moment I have two K850is, and I'm attached to both, but I have to send the blue one back today.

i have had an older k750i for over 1.5 years, and it's great. i can imagine how good your phone is.
i havent had a phone from other brand than sony ericsson they are great

I had the D750i version which was exclusive to a network, (pretty much the same phone) and I had that for about 2 years, it was an awesome phone, I didn't really see any real reason to upgrade it until I saw the K850i

yeh i think its the same with a lot of people, once you have a sony ericsson you tend to stick with them. they are so user friendly which i really like, well hu doesnt? lol

I'm to lazy to upload one but it's awesome, it really is sick, you can really see the quality when you move the phone around while recording and the sound quality it picks up is equally awesome.
