Does it ruin your hair?
My hair is layered and I take the shorter pieces and sperate them then backcomb them and straighten the rest. I hair spray them to death so it will stay poofy behind my headband. It gets frizzy and I was just wondering if it could hurt your hair?

After a while, yes it does ruin your hair.
Just condition your hair and do hot oil treatments twice a month.

it splits your hair after a while.........

Eventually it'll take its toll on your hair.

As long as you regularly condition your hair with a decent conditioner and perhaps a hair mask every other week you should be ok! I tend to back comb my fringe for work and pin it back as a quiff!! Quick and easy solution to keeping it out of the way!
