Tell me what you think. I got it in a mystery bag at LIZ LISA, but I still haven't worked up the courage to wear it yet...

it looks like an angel costume in a 4th graders christmas play.

Yeah I know. Not good?

The front is cute. The back and sleeves are iffy.
LauraK
10-09-2007, 08:06 PM
Yeah it would look better without the sleeves. It could look nice at a dressy occasion.
Jasmine-Rose
10-09-2007, 08:06 PM
Mm maybe I could try cutting the sleeves off?
LauraK
10-09-2007, 08:08 PM
Yeah if you're good at sewing. If not you could get it altered at a dressmakers. It probably wouldn't cost much.

yeah the sleeves gotta go.
should be a fairly easy operation and judging by the seams the dress will have a nice sleek sihlouette once the sleeves are gone.

DO NOT cut the sleeves.
it might look better with out them, but they hold the back together. with out then you'll just have a neck, and a half a back. itd look so bad.
i think it's fairly cute. maybe the sleeves could work. maybe.

Actually, it's connected by the halter thing. I don't think I'll actually cut it though.

Look at my picture.
Black = sleeve.
Green = Fringe.
Red = Seem.
Purple = The fabric that would randomly be hanging, with nothing to hold it up if you were to cut the sleeves.
Unless of course, you cut those too, and cut the sides and basically make it a whole new dress, but you better be damn good at sewing.
..Anyway. Good. I think it looks nice with them.

lol! That made me laugh. Okay I understand. I won't do it.

i think if the sleeves were less wide and there were no sparkles, it would be cute.

so would you wear it to school?
of course, i would dress it down with jeans.

I think it would be really cute dressed down with jeans.

I really like it- but the sleeves bother me. You should alter it a bit, make the sleeves less fluttery and distracting.

Um....ew. First off, I think it's absolutely hideous. Second off, I don't think it looks flattering on you AT ALL. It makes you look fat. Like a fat angel who came out of a garbage can. I'm not calling you fat, because you're not. I'm just saying what it makes you look like. I say trash it.
I thought about the name a bit. LIZ LISA. Why does it sound so familiar? It took me a while to figure out where I heard that name........in Japan! Are you talking about that store in Japan (I'm sure there's more than one, but the brand...) right? o_O? Or am I completely off here?

Ok... I dont like the sleeves, but if the person who explained the whole seam things right, then maybe you could make them into little cup sleeves or something... I'm not sure, just to get rid of the flutteryness of them.
Also if I were you I wouldn't dress it down with jeans, it'd look better if you wore it with some black tights and heels for a special occasion. :)

I think it's darling. The sleeves and the sparkles add to the whole image of it being very girly. I think with jeans it would look very cute.

Out of honesty that dress adds weight to you, but maybe there's a way to reverse it. It just looks like the type of clothing pregnant women wear.
But you don't look fat, it's just that the dress doesn't look shapely on you.

I think its gross. It looks like part of a cheap halloween costume or something

I hate it.
It does make you look fat. Even if you're not.
The shape and design is just all wrong.
Too many sparkles. Too.. White.
Make you look like you've staggered out of some play from elementary school.

I remember the Liz Lisa in Hong Kong. I hated almost everything there, it's all so...frilly. *shudder* I prefer classic lines, curves, shapes. Not...frilly things.

Really? I love frills. It's just that it doesn't fit into my usual style... Hence the reason of my hesitance.

I think you need a belt with it...and possibly a cute pair of leggings instead of jeans...maybe black belt, black leggings/opague tights and a nice black necklace...
