ok so the title was kind of random, and put this here for lack of a better place.

sooooooooooo i'm itching for a new piercing, but i have no idea what i want, so i was jhoppig that some people here could give me some ideas. i have some lobes, a helix, an indutral, a navel, and 2 nipple

the thing is i want to stay away from facial piercings because lets ust say it will interfear with my job


ideas? i wan't somethig unique, other than the ear piercing,i find them borring :(

Why not get tongue and get a clear ball? They are really easy to hide. I have one, and unless I have a metal stud or a spiral stud, no one really notices..

surface bars can do, but microdermals tend not to, They're a lot like transdermals, and can be tricky to remove.. They're sort of permanent but they can be a little expensive.. Go look on BME?

well if you want a non-facial piercing that you haven't got [i assume you don't want any genital piercings...] your best options are clavicle, hips, nape or sternum. of course, [the facial piercings you can get - anti-eyebrow, eyebrow, cheeks, madonna, medusa, lowbret, etc etc.]

as surface piercings they will have a higher rate of rejection. you can get them almost anywhere, but make sure your piercer is reputable and has the right jewellery and the appropriate amount of experience.

also - microdermals aren't piercings, they're implants. wanna see how they're done?

oh and good news, i found out that the dress code only applies to the employees that come into regulare contact with customers. since i don't, i can pierce whatever i want. yay!

People say tongue rings hurt really bad, But They arent that bad. They give you something to rinse your mouth out, gargle a couple secs longer if you can. And then dry off your tongue, and yeah you do drool on yourself when you get it done. He/She takes big tong looking things and sticks a needle through with the ring.. Your tongue is in so much shock you dont even realize what happend. Afterwards. Ice will be your best friend. Make sure no dairy for the next few hours. And dont Eat within 4 hours of having it done, it could get infected. But have alot of ice water and Icees. Those made mine feel the best. The swelling goes down within 3-5 days and presto you got it. In a month you can change it to something other than a starter stud, which is longer than a regular tongue ring, because your tongue does swell. I have had mine peirced twice. The first time it closed during a surgery I had. But anywhosit. Its fun to learn to talk with, Feels different and its a boredom kill. I would seriously recommend it. In my opinion, Lip rings hurt worse than tongue, seeing as how I have had both.

yah i just had my tongue pierced yesterday.....it didn't hurt that bad...but now i can't eat much :( lol

ok, so you can compare with me...was your industrial not one of the most painful things ever? lol...the onlything more painful was my tattoo and nipple piercings, in fact the nipples hurt more than the tat...wierd

I agree, industrial = most painful, as the piercer was slow. Still it's been well behaved for the last 8 months :)

you're lucky, i had mine done last december and it's still as pissed off as ever...but then again, my helix took longer than this to heal...so i'm thinking it's normal for me.

ah, my helixes all took about 6 months to heal, as did my scaffold all in all, but the rest of my piercings healed faster, or are healing faster.

yeah im gettin my eye brow, belly button, snake bites, and my ears peirced all the way up my ear. I might get my nose peirced and maybe my tounge. Im gettin my eyebrow peirced twice so it lines up lookin like an X on my eyebrow. i already have my ears peirced and i had my lip peirced and i have my hood peirced...that hurt like a mother fucker but it was totally worth it. =]

Maybe you should have written it better so your intent is clear. and I did read the thread, it was about peoples piercings and which ones they would like. I said I don't have any becuase I don't think they are attractive. I am not saying anything against anyones character or anything, but I don't think they look good. If you'd like to get them, go for it I am not stopping you.

mine has given me problems since i got it...but i refuse o retire it untill it heatens structaral damge to my ear. i had some problems with my helix an it heale fine..so i'm hoping!

The top one fell out in my sleep and nearly closed... Ive managed to put some horrible thin earring in there for a while though. Its gonna take me ages to stretch it, sigh.
