two questions for you

i'm getting my hair done, so i want to know what color i should get it dyed/how should i get it cut because i'm challenged when it comes to making my own decisions hair-wise

i'm even more mentally challenged when it comes to putting on eyeliner, so i'd like some tips
if i ever use pencil eyeliner, it smears and if i ever use liquid eyeliner, it's even worst
whenever i do my eyeliner presently, i only apply it to my bottom lid on the inside 'cuz i fail at applying it on the outside and fail even more on the top lid

tips/suggestions are appreciated

Hmm, I would suggest getting highlights. Maybe dying your hair a bit darker, then adding brown highlights? I think the length is good, but if you need to cut off split ends and whatnot, then cut it a few inches. Get it layered too, that would look nice.

When doing eyeliner, you should start with pencil first. To do your top lid, hold the corner of your eye (on the outside) and pull it to the side making your top lid completely straight. That should be easier. Pratice makes perfect and Q-tips are your best friends! If it's smearing too much, it may also be the eyeliner itself. Maybe buy another brand and see how that works out for you?

yeah, i don't want to get it trimmed. i was thinking about doing layers and getting it barely just darker with some caramel highlights. layers are a must, since it just makes the hair not look so.. ugly and i wanted to get some kind of bangs. something to frame my face, since i think i have a big forehead. like, bangs like this: http://www.richiefan.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/05/nicole-richie-the-simple-ife.jpg

is there some super duper good kind of eyeliner or some special technique to make it look so ... not shittily done? lol.

Hmm, those bangs are cute. You could try to work them, but they may look a bit emo or whatever on you..... :shrug:

The eyeliner is smudged to create that look, which takes a lot of practice to get it exactly right so it doesn't look like raccoon eyes and whatnot. Like I said, practice makes perfect! You have to practice with your eyeliner to get the hang of it, once you get it down, you can start smearing it to create that smudge look.
