i'm gaging my cartilage, i know how to insert it, you line up the two dimples[or holes] in the beads to the ends of the ring and you snap it in place.
but i'm having a hard time getting the bead in. my fingers are fuckin burning from trying to get it in because i'm putting lots of force on the metal to try to snap it in place. yeah, any of you guys have tips to getting the bead in a lil more smoothly....without breaking my fingers .... >__<

use a normal thing, those things are a bitch to put in (as you might know) make sure everything's dry and that might help?

leave it for a while, getting frustrated over it will make it even harder to get in.

make sure your fingers are dry, and click one dimple into the metal first with the other dimple lined up as close as possible to the other bit of the ring - then roll it slowly around until it clicks.

if you don't manage to get it in ask someone to help you out, and if worse comes to worse try and get your hands on some ring-opening pliers, be careful not to bend the metal completely out of shape though. good luck, i spent an hour trying to get the ball into the CBR in my lip once. >_>

Yeah, try and make the ring larger with some pliers [needlenose are handy]
Just not too much, or you'll have a collection of slightly square BCRs....

I use needlenose pliers with tape on the end to stop em flying off.

...but cbr pliers cost about the same as regulare pliers depending on where you buy them and regular pliers arn't really the cheap in the first place.

We have some in the garage though... Saves me ordering stuff from the internets too

that's because they are looking for someone to say do it it'll be alright, i simpl wont do that if t isn't true and neither should anyone else.

I find the bad advice quite amusing, its normally really random, and everyone just screams "NOO!" at them. [and seems to involve lots of fruit]

Oh over on bjs (what Stasha was talking about) we once got this 12 year old girl who got her tongue pierced in a car park by a 17 year old. Then she went on about everything including how her science teaher had breast cancer and had one removed and it was replaced with a wooden one, then she went on about how she does drugs etc then everything and it was hillarious!!!

Oh yes and one of us found a "How to pierce your belly button" guide and one of the instructions was to use a slice of apple so we made jokes about that too.

Oh Stasha! When you come back you've just missed the craziest guy. He'd been on before and was liek 15 and said he was gona tattoo himself. He had an avata etc so yeah, and then he said he did it but then said he wouldn't show pic then started racially abusing people and taking the piss cause of my facial piercings (on a piercing forum) then suddenly when he got to 20 posts there was a tidal wave / explosion of gay and lesbian ****. IT was CRAAAZY!
