to dinner at my boyfriends.
im going over there monday for thanksgiving dinner and im not sure whether i should dress up a bit or just wear my normal clothes?
i dont want to look like a loser if i dress up a bit.. but i dont want to look like i dont care either.
i've only met his dad, i havent met his mom, brother or his girlfriend yet, so i dont want to make a bad first impression..
if i ask him he'll be like 'it doesnt matter' ;
but im not sure haha..
any ideas?

If you wear dresses a non-classy sundress with flip flops or heels would be alright.
Or some dark wash jeans, high heels, and a nice shirt.

For pants I'd go for http://store.delias.com/item.do?categoryID=492&itemID=46087&sizeFilter=&colorFilter=&brandFilter=
Then for shirt, http://store.delias.com/item.do?categoryID=458&itemID=47792&sizeFilter=&colorFilter=&brandFilter=
And for shoes I'd go for http://store.delias.com/item.do?categoryID=1039&itemID=48343&sizeFilter=&colorFilter=&brandFilter=
Its sorta like what I'd wear to a casual church or to school.

lol I honestly don't know who would wear that.
But to the TS. I suggest wearing something comfortable, but not too dressy, also something that looks nice.

Yeah, go for something nice, between casual and dressy.
A nice shirt, maybe a blouse of some sort if that's your style, with a nice pair of dark jeans, or just a nice shirt and skirt. Match with some nice heals, or flats, depending on what you go for, and you should be good to go.
Don't do really low cut things, that's not so good for a first impression, also, avoid lounge, sweats type clothing.

Honestly, wear jeans and a sweater. Nothing special, but....you're trying to get on the boyfriend's parent's good side.
Oh, and the fact that I am a very uptight, strict person plays a role in why I think you should wear that.

Wear a cardigan. Dress slacks. Black heels. And a strand of pearls or something. Keep it simple and classy.

Wear something sweet, simple and classy. No cleavage, no bare midriff, no thongs sticking out of your jeans! Here are some ideas of something I'd wear.
1. A nice pair of black skinny jeans (http://www.target.com/Juniors-Xhilaration-Denim-Skinny-Jeans/dp/B000TMD2R2/qid=1191818137/ref=br_1_6/602-8712710-3343855?ie=UTF8&node=194340011&frombrowse=1&rh=&page=1) with a loose, swingy top (http://www.oldnavy.com/browse/product.do?cid=5438&pid=528198&scid=528198012), and black Pumps (http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/catalog/productdetail.jsp?itemdescription=true&itemCount=-1&id=13791926&parentid=W_SHOES_HEELSWEDGES&sortProperties=+product.marketingPriority,-product.startDate&navCount=35&navAction=poppush&color=)
2. A cute sweater (http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=8989&pid=480336) bootcut jeans (http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=15673&pid=431909) or a nice skirt (http://store.alloy.com/item.do?categoryID=16&itemID=47735&sizeFilter=&colorFilter=&brandFilter=) and easyflats. (http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/catalog/productdetail.jsp?itemdescription=true&itemCount=-1&id=13553318&parentid=W_SHOES_FLATS&sortProperties=+product.marketingPriority,-product.startDate&navCount=43&navAction=poppush&color=)
3. A simple dress (http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=13658&pid=502645) (and tights, if it's cold) with flats (http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/catalog/productdetail.jsp?itemdescription=true&itemCount=-1&id=13337209&parentid=W_SHOES_FLATS&sortProperties=+product.marketingPriority,-product.startDate&navCount=43&navAction=poppush&color=)
I'd rather be over-dressed than under.

Wear a nice sweater and Jeans and flats. Comfy but nice. do some light make up and you should be all set.
