I know theres been many threads in the past of Rocky Horror, but Halloween is just around the corner, so says Wal Mart and Halloween USA, and that means that RHPS will rise once again to thrill, chill and fufill folks around the U.S.
So please, BY ALL AND ANY DAMN MEANS, share your favorite Rocky Horror stories and experiences.
I myself saw Rocky Horror at the ripe age of 11, and it pretty much fucked my mind up into what it is today, and thank God, because I wouldnt want to have it any other way. I converted many people at my school into Rock Heads and we're all planning on going to see the movie at a theatre this Halloween. I've been a fan for over 5 years, in addition to the movie and soundtrack, I have the official trivia game, The Rocky Horror Picture Show Book, The New Broadway Cast Recording, The Original London Cast Recording, The "Sing It!" Soundtrack (Kareoke), a huge ass poster of the movie logo (Frank and Lips), and the Shock Treatment film and soundtrack.
I know pretty much everything surrounding the movie (can you name all the Party Guests by name?) and cant wait to see the stage show LIVE at a venue next spring.
This movie is just a great experience for anyone, and the lyrics to some of the songs are surely words to live by. ALL of the songs are great, and the characters are some of the most memorable ones you'll find in any movie in history. In fact, I'm stocking up on transvestite garb fo next year's (my senior year) Halloween, I'm gonna have a kickass Frank outfit.

Its great when you have a huge group of people. Those who have already seen it have a great time, and the virgins are just torn apart, its amusing.

i love that movie. we watched it for my birthday one year. . . =P
and hopefully will go to see it October 27th at the Oriental Theater for their halloween show
almost all memories of watching it are great. cause we all dance and sing along with it.
but my all time favorite might've been when we (a few friends and i) were on a school rafting trip and were watching it, and one of my friends was up on the table doing the time warp and our 2 of our teachers who were chaperoning walked in while we were singing and dancing to it.
good times.

I've seen it in theatres a few times, and I've got to say it's always a great experience. One of my favorite parts is getting to dress up, and I always go as Magenta. It's just great to be around so many people who share a common interest. Also, I love all of the ceremonies involving the virgins. XD

'folks around the U.S.'
You do know, other countries have both Halloween AND Rocky Horror, right?

aduhr, I know everything.
Watching the movie in theaters and shouting callbacks started over here, though. And from what I here, the stage musical is performed more frequently than the movie shown elsewhere.

I watch the movie every year. Love it.
The transexual from transylvania song is my favorite.

hehe. the worst song from RHPS to get stuck in your head is Creature Of The Night. because you know how when you have a song stuck in your head, you randomly start singing it, no matter where you are....and to be in, like, school and burst out with: touch-a touch-a touch-a touch me, i wanna feel dirrrttyy, thrill me, chill me, fulfill me, creature of the niiiight
you get weird looks from people who dont know the song.

Thats probably the only one Ive never had stuck in my head. A great callback for the chorus of Toucha Touch Me is 'fucka fucka fuck me. I wanna be spermy. Eat me, beat me, mistreat me, Cream between my thighs'
pretty dirty but hilarious.

this friday sparked another great memory of the time warp. it was one of my friend's birthday so we went to a bowling alley. last year everyone had lined up across the lanes and danced to Jump on It, so to follow tradition we went to find that, or something better to dance for and stumbled upon Time Warp and Sweet Transvestite. Well, we did the Time Warp in the middle of the bowling alley, and at the end when we all fell down, one of my friends ripped a huge hole in the crotch of her pants =P definitely the funniest thing of the night.
