Im used taking off my eyeliner with a q-tip and some soap and water, the problem is i tug and pull at the skin under my eye and now its all dry and hard feeling! I put a little vitamin E and some lotion under there to get it back to normal but i dont think its working. Anyone ever had this problem or know how to heal it???

No, my skin is never dry and hard feeling, but I do obsess over my under eye skin, since I too take off makeup everyday. I'm always reading you should be careful when you clean under your eyes, or you'll damage the skin there.

First of all, you really shouldn't be removing your eyeliner with soap and water...you should either get a eye-make up remover (does wonders) or use lotion on a q-tip. And you shouldn't do swiping motions so much as circular ones.

This has actually been bothering me enough lately, to where I went and got this eye lotion by clinique and put it on at night. It actually does brighten the under eye area and makes make up easier to put on.
