I really really want to get a pedicure.
But I am a little confused on what actually happens. Do they soak your feet and stuff? Mine are getting a bit dry and callusy because of the shoes I wear for work, would they be able to fix them up?
I am going in about 6 weeks, what can i do to get them in better condition by then?
Should I be using a pumice stone on the dry hard bits? I dont think a cream would cut it,

I love pedicures! It's soo relaxing. They soak your feet first for awhile then clip off toe-nails, extra skin, etc. and file them. They also get off excess nailpolish if you were wearing some. They massage your legs and feet with a lotion they use and it feels amazing! Sometimes they use a cooling gel. They also scrub your heels and get off the dry skin. Your feet can definitely get fixed up... almost instantly after the pedicure.

Having other people touch my feet is repulsive to me.

^ I feel the same way. But people tend to love them, so...
The only thing is they're trying to make it illegal to use this one kind of tool...like a cheese shredder. They even ask people if they use them, and they say "No", then they go undercover to find that they do...I have no idea...but all I know is those things are really bad for you, and if they whip one out, be like "Hey...wtf mate"

I love pedicures too! Glitter_Gun, since they are trying to make those tools illegal, what about those razor tools that shave off any rough skin? Those seem to be more dangerous.
These posts pretty much sum up what they do... I like the spa pedicures so you get to sit in those comfy massage chairs!
If you are doing it at home, I would recommend soaking your feet in warm/hot water until they get soft. Then scrub them in the rough spots with a pumice stone. I like to use a good foot cream or even Vaseline on my feet to make them very soft afterwards.
For the painting, I use a base coat to prevent staining, then apply about 2 coats of a color, and then a top coat.

...I wouldn't know since I didn't make that rule. But that could possibly be what they were talking about?

I've decided to get a deluxe spa pedicure.
Its costing me $65 but includes a leg massage as well.. Oooh cant wait!
I dont care about the razor tools and stuff, if it gets the dead skin off im cool with it. They're just as dangerous as razors or nail clippers!
