My hair has broken off pieces of hair all over my head that makes my hair look really bad and unhealthy. How can I fix it?

Split ends?
Do you straighten or curl your hair often with flat iron/curling iron?
Do you blow dry your hair ?

It could be the damage from heat.

I think you mean that you have several split ends and dry ends, so there's major breakage.. I can't imagine from the top of your head it's falling off because they refer to that as 'virgin hair' meaning the hair at the top of your head it's the healthiest, it always grows faster and right away. Go into your salon that you normally get your hair done at and talk to a stylist. They'll recommend shampoo, conditioner, and deep conditioner that will help. Also leave in conditioner works wonders for those who dye their hair alot or is constantly dry. It won't obviously work over night, but it'll be a start. Keep up with regular trims too and if you use a straightener everyday, try not to. That breaks your hair as well.

Get a conditioning hair mask to help try and fix it, lay off straightning, blow drying and curling your hair with tongs or it'll just get worse. If you really have to use heated styling products use heat protection spray.

Split ends?

In that case, get it trimmed and wash your hair with conditioner.

you need to condition your hair more, use really creamy conditioners like tresume or dove... they are the best in my opinion... use lots of it too and do it every day, within a few weeks it should be fine.... it all depends on how long youve left it dead for.. because thats what it is, dead hair

It's not split ends, it's hard to explain but there's all these different length strands of hair that are broken from my flatiron pulling at it. Plus I dye my hair alot and put it up alot if that has to do with anything...

Have your hair trimmed and use a protective spray next time you straighten.

ive got the same problem.
i was just ab to say its probably from the straightening iron pulling it out.
get a new straighten that doesnt do that.
make sure theres no ridges on the side for you hair to get caught in.
buy some conditioner for colored hair,
leave it in for a few mins,
wash it out.
do that once a week.
& wash your hair regulary every other day.
