My friend lent me her clutch bag last night and said "don't get it dirty." It's a light grey and was really hard to keep clean (especially when drunk). It's not that bad, it's just got a couple of smudges and marks over it.
Does anyone know how I can get it off? Should I use soap and water or would that ruin the material? I've tried water but it's not budging. It's sort of a very smooth material??

Is it silk? Satin? Cotton? Leather?

I think it's satin. It feels kind of spongey but really smooth...
