I've seen those mentioned on here alot lately.. and I was thinking about getting them I usually get arclyics every 2 weeks. But I hear Gel ones are better... so I want to know this. Do they only come in the regular manicure style or can I get pretty designs on them?

i have gelnails theyre a rip off where i live but i get them for summer months i like them and u can get like lil decals and stuff on them,i have sparkles on them right now =D

I've heard they are way better then acrylics like they are good for your nails.

I personally don't have them (I haven't bitten my nails since June!! ^.^), but my mother used to get acrylics and switched to gel nails at the recommendation of her nail person.

She was satisfied with them for ages, I believe they were cheaper, and more natural looking, she found. If you want to know pricing, it will probably depend on where you are, but try looking up where you get your nails done, or somewhere in your area that offers that service and check their website for costs. Around here though, a lot of the places advertise their prices as you walk into the store, so you'd be able to compare.

well here....to get them with french white tips its 60 the first time (yes i know! retarded!) fills are 35 usually. still exspensive i think but i love them:)

gel nails they actually paint a UV gel onto your nails and u put them under a UV lamp and they harder lol
