I just got my arms waxed, which I have been doing monthly for about 3 years now. But this time when I got them waxed, they ripped off a small area of skin off!! :angry:
Has this ever happened to anyone else?

some acne medicine thins your skin.
like accutane and retenay or w/e.
and it rips your skin off.
happened to my friend when she was on retenay.
and if the wax is too hot it WILL BURN LAYERS OFF.

Hmm, I didn't know that (acne medication), well, the OP stated she isn't on any acne medication.

If the wax was too hot, you would think that the OP would jump out of her seat and scream, IT'S BURNING. Or you know, she would notice that the wax was burning her skin, huh? Reputable salons should always check the temperature of the wax before putting it on the client.

I've heard of girls waxing their arms. My friend's Chaldean so she had dark hair and she did it...

I don't wax myself....I get waxed at a salon by professionals (suposivly)

Only freaks wax themselves.
