What's your opinion on fake nails?

I used to think they were really ugly, but now I'm starting to like them... Especially the ones with interesting designs.

I go in to get acrylics sometimes, because my nails are crap and never grow out. They DESTROY my nails, but I just get them redone. And I hate the ones with crazy designs on them. I just get one color, as long as my finger tip, and maybe a rhinestone on my ring fingers or something.

I like them. I rather look at those instead of someones ugly nails.

I get Solar Nails every now and then. They are thinner than acrylics and they come out nice when I get them. They cost more, some places are $60, but luckily mine is $35 plus tip... still more than acrylics! I get the american manicure rather than french. I just get them a few times a year.... when I pick them off my nails do get damaged but they grow fast and are back to normal within a few weeks.

I personally dont like fake things so I never wear them.

I like them for a special occasion, my real nails are a mess.

i have them,they aren't long though.i get a little design on them.
really long nails look bad!

Sometimes they can look really cheap
But I wore them once....when they came off they took the whole top layer of my nail off....my nails have never been the same since =[

some of them are okay but I agree that sometimes they can look cheap

I think they're nice...but on other people. When I try to apply them to myself it just ends up in one big mess.

I'm so glad I can grow my nails out :)

Wow, I'm stupid. I actually considered getting fake nails, but then I let my nails grow out and now I'm happy with them :)

but i've grown my nails out as long as i would have them done acrylic so i'm happy with my real ones at the moment :)

I like acrylics...But they look like crap like when they need to be filled...it sucks.

I get this cool kind of french manicure where like the tip is not white but it can be any color...I love those.

but the really long clawlike nails some chicks have look ghetto. haha

i like them actually. I usually get the tips and they look really nice but NEVER buy the cheep ones that you glue on and that come in that like kit. They look HORRIBLE and the glue stays on your nails for along time and it is just a pain in the butt.

okay I got a really cute pair of fake nails in a nail set thing, and I was wondering... how do you put them on? Do you have to buy the glue? Where? And how do you get them off once you're tired of them?

they remove the first
layer of your nail
which protects it from over
exposure to water
which makes the break easily...
honestly i got fake manicure and
it messed my nais up..
if your going to stick
to fake nails they buy
oil for your nails!
you apply it atleast
once a day best at night
and i replenishes your nails
and helps them grow stronger
longer faster!

i have get them couple of times only for special occasions i like them solar with french design i havent got any long time ago they messed up my nail prety bad i have very thin nails and after i take out the fake ones it hurts realyyy badd

I prefer fake nails with french which end aslant.

I used to get my nails done allll the time but recently I got really sick of them. I got annoyed when things would get caught under them so I haven't been back in to get them done again. Personally, I think they look really nice.
