Pondering thought: I don't get it...why do people pay rediculous amounts of money for designer made clothes when you could find a simular piece of clothing that isn't an expensive designer label??

One time my teacher had this $110 skirt and I went to Goodwill and got one just like it for 3 bucks. The only downside is the possibility of wearing them on the same day. Fashion crisis!!!

I can't afford designer clothing. Too damn expensive, anyways I like my Levis and SO jeans with my t-shirts I get from Kohls. It works for me, plus no one in my school wears designer labels so it's not really a big thing.

I like designer clothes, but they're too expensive. I can wear anything, but when I go into public, I am never going to wear Wal-Mart or Kmart clothes.

Designer clothes cost more because they have better quality and nobody has worn them before......where i live you'll get clowned if you wear "buddies" anywho... i guess it doesn't matter if you'd rather wear clothes from the thrift store.... just depends on the person.

People that can afford them want other people to know how rich they are. So they buy designer clothes and people think they are amazing because of that.

whats the matter with low-priced clothing? i mean when you go to the outlet places, you can get the same thing for like at least 50% less!!! So i stick to my gun and shop at oulet stores.. who care about the designers, no boundries (wal-mart brand) rocks!

i don't get all the fuss about designer clothes. i don't get many - only my jeans are ralph lauren n a couple of other random things. i think people just like the label. i used to be a bit like that but now in england vintage stuff and non-label clothes seem to be all the rage so i'll happily shop anywhere. Designer clothes are nice, but i prefer the ones that don't have a massive slogan across the front broadcasting where its from.

Does anyone here like to wear really funky glam rock style clothes? If you do you should check out the coolest website, it's www.unrulyclothing.com. I get so many clothes there for cheap and they put new stuff up every day! It's awesome! They even have brand names like diesel and for under 40.00

i dont have meny lables. i dont get it eather. my sister is going through a faze of only wareing levis jeans, yet they rip so easily, my jeans from like new look etc last me much longer and dont even look that different. the only things im willing to spend more money of is trainers and teenage millionare, but i get them off of ebay so even then its no way near as bigger rip of as it is getting it from a shop

:cutie: yeah all the girls think there something when there actually just another person on earth. paying rediculous prices is what they think is so good because they want to be another Brittany Spears or Paris Hilton. If you make your own clothes or go to a dollar store and redo them then they might like it and ask where you got it. tell em that you made it and are starting your own trend. they might want a copy of that later. keep it cool and open minded one day theyll have to pay for those prices.
