Anyone have a really good pair of sunglasses? Is it best to go to an optician for them so they're customised for your face?

I have a pair of fendi aviators. They rock.

I don't think its important to go to the optician. I have a good shop that sells them near me for £5 each, some are good and some not so good. Just try a few out at a shop and there's bound to be some that suit your face.

I'm talking about a 'proper' pair, rather than the kind you'd find in a high street shop.

Shops I've looked in have crap selection anyway, this sort of style is what I'm after http://www.otticanet.it/silhouette.cfm?p_codice_occhiale=8609

I've already got a pair of cheap aviators but I don't think they suit me.

Defo don't go to the opticians. They probably know less about fashion than you do. Either that or they'll recommend their best seller, meaning you'll have the most common pair.

Get something colourful, outrageous and vintage.

I don't want something outrageous or colourful, I want something with a classic, cool look to it.

And if I did go to an opticians it wouldn't change the style I want.

i have a few like white Vogue, and two-tone DKNY aviators. and some gucci, but to answer your other Q, im sure wherever you buy them from, like a store, theyll fit them for ya. teh link you put up tho, ive seen some ray-ban ones like that, not too expensive.

It's the square, rimless design I like, but I don't want to order over the internet, best to try them on although I don't really know of anywhere that does it as a speciality.

it depends on where you live. and if you won't buy them over teh internet, dont worry then, beacuse wherever you go to to buy them, the salespeople will help you out.

I only own 2 pairs. One's from Mossimo, and the other is Marc Jacobs.
They both make pretty great sunglasses.

But we have very different tastes...

shut up.
200 is not "kinda cheap" for a pair of sunglasses. kinda cheap is like...5 bucks. and im extremely far from being anything close to poor. im not saying its bad to splurge on sunglasses, because i like too. but they are not "kinda cheap".
