Al Sharpton will say it's racist and have everyone fired from their jobs.

It would be considered racist and shut down. It would never be created.

But, then again, since whites are still the majority, we don't really need a channel aimed directly at us. I do however, think BET is ridiculous.

I actually hate that, you're totally right if someone comes up with White Entertainment Television everyone is like "ooooh that's so racist". If someone comes up with Latinos Only it's okay. But then again for the longest when water fountains and bathrooms were for white and colored who got the best bathroom? I know it damn sure wasn't the coloreds. When the new school books were passed out who got the the hispanics or the whites? Who sat in the back of the bus the whites or the blacks? So, I guess people are associating W.E.T as being racist because they assume it's better and the white people think it's better and they think B.E.T is crappy. Even if it's just the same and on B.E.T Pretty Ricky is playing and on W.E.T Maroon 5 is.
And let's not forget for the longest there was nothing for blacks/coloreds to watch.. maybe they started B.E.T with the intent to let blacks/coloreds know there's something for them and now days it's equal they just never changed the tradition.

im black and i watch a decent amount of BET. B.E.T isnt even that great. its kinda ignorant actually but whatever. yeah, i think a BILLION ppl would find W.E.T racist. i've had this convo before. it doesnt rly matter to me. i'd laff at da whole thing
