iight well I got my nose pierce about a month ago.
I got it done with a stud with a lil diamond.
about a week later the lil diamond fell off so i wanted to change the earing which i did.
a couple days ago. but the earing i bought the inside hook is smaller
and not as big as the one i got it done with.
is this bad?
is my hole gonna shrink?
cause its not the exact same size..

the hole with shrink... find out what gauge the jewlery you are wearing now is... its probably like an 18a nd when they pierced you they should have used a 14 gauge but probably used a 16. please tell me you got it done with a needle... cause these number only really make sence then.

I was thinking of getting a nose stud, but i change my mind allot and i was wondering if the hole can shrink, if i didn’t want to have a nose piercing any more would the hole completely heal up or would i be left with it forever????

yes the hole will shrink, but that's okay. they probably put in bigger gauge jewelry when you got it done to accommodate for swelling. when i got mine done they put in a 16g nose bone. since then i've been wearing smaller ones...i wore an 18g for a while, then went to a 20g for a while and now i'm back to an 18g. it's alright to go down to a smaller gauge (personally i think the smaller ones look better anyway), because you can always put a bigger one in if you decide to. it will hurt to put in a bigger gauge later, but it's possible.

it depends on the person, but in most cases it will heal up completely and leave only a little dot of a scar. when i got mine done they told me that they've had people who'd had it done for years take it out for ten minutes and it'd closed up so they had to get it redone.
i've had mine done for a year and if i leave it out for an hour or more it's very difficult to get it back in. by that time it's starting to close up and i have to really shove the stud through to get it back in. yeah, painful.

first of all dont change the jewlery of a healing piercing yourself if there something you want doing go back to the place n get them to do it so to minimise the risk of infection and yes if you use a smaller stud because it is healing still it will heal smaller as it will heal to the new size
