I have a group interview at Hollister on Friday and I'm really nervous. I've never done retail before so I'm not sure what to expect and what to wear.
Any advice would be awesome. Thanks guys. :)

Wearing something from Hollister would probably be a plus.

Yeah, but don't wear the typical outfit, that shirt and jeans. Wear something from Hollister that's really cute, if you need help with that I can go on their website. Just try to be as clean and fresh, don't wear too much make up since that's not the Hollister look.

Edit-
Wow you're gorgeous, look like that for your interview. Anything will look good on you.

Def wear hollister. Maybe a polo to look more interviewish.

They are probably going to ask you to do something like "sell them a pen" so maybe think about what you're going to say to that. And they'll prolly ask why you're good for the job too.

Um try to look as cute as possible because hollister hires based on looks. (sad but true). Wear your hair down and little makeup.

No, they really do. Hollister is just like abercrombie and the people that work out front are called "models" and their job is basically just looking good in hollister clothes. Then they just fold clothes, say hi to people, and open dressing rooms. Lol. That's what I do at abercrombie lol. The big wigs (lol) even come to the hollisters/ abercrombies sometimes and "rate" the store on a scale of 1-5 based on how atractive the models are. If your store gets a low number, some people could get fired, or they immediately start hiring again.

Wow, I didn't know stores could be ..ecchhh, I don't wear hollister or abercrombie or any of that other crap so I wouldn't know, but I agree, wear something nice and it would be a deff. plus to wear Hollister.

ughhhhh that's so nerve racking. I heard somethings about the race issue. I've been told they don't hire black people, But I've seen several black guys working at those 2 stores.
And only one black girl working at abercrombie, which was my cousin. lol
Maybe I can break some barriers.
Even though my hair is a blondish/ light brownish color and I may wear my hazel contacts.

UGHHH I just don't know guys!

Actually, that is in your favor. If there are no black girls working there you will probably get it. At abercrombie at least, when I first started working there like almost 2 years ago there were NO black people. And then like 3 months later the manager was told he had to hire some so the store wouldn't look racist or whatever. And then like a month later we had two black guys and one black girl =] So yea, that could be a plus. They might be looking to hire some not-white people. =]

Don't worry about the looks/race issue. You're gorgeous.
Just wear something really nice and don't wear too much makeup.
I shop at Hollister sometimes and they have some clothes that look really nice but you can still wear them to school and with friends, so if you buy that outfit that one girl suggested you'll definetly wear it more than once.

Good luck!

don't worry about your race being an issue, it will work in your favor if anything. you're gorgeous and you don't need to worry about wearing certain colored contacts or whatever in order for them to accept you. wear something that is casual but dressy enough so you dont look like youre careless haha. and smile!

K so I've been told that my makeup should be natrual. Brown eye shadow, Mascara and lip gloss. How does it look?Should I put on the foundation? lol I think I look dry without it.

you look really clean and fresh there, apply some moisturizer

**better yet a tinted moisturizer if you know a good brand**
