thats the fine line between being emo and being a trannie.

Emo is another fashion style, it's basically ridiculous look. Whatever makes one happy, even if it's delusional.

They'll grow out of it soon enough.

i don't think any of them quite realise how ridiculous they look, thats not to say that you can't listen to the music..it's just they take everything too far.

i feel sorry for them.

i think its ok if they do a little bit of that style but not overdoing it , some are quite cute with the emo look :D

but what REALLY pisses me off is when emo's try to act all gangsta using the words "for shizzle" or what ever the fuck lol or ....the scene kids who TRY TOO HARD to be emo

Scene is just one of those trends where when you grow out of it, you'll look back at old pictures of yourself and cringe.

Emo is less... intense than scene. Old skool emo kids looked NORMAL. They might've had longer than average hair and dressed a little geeky, but they didn't look like these ridiculous scene kids.

From what i've heard, scene is like more of a cutesy version of emo. Look at it this way, you go to a layout site and you see "emo" and "scene" categories. Emo is about cutting yourself and blahblahblah my life sucksss kill me in the dark. whatever. and then the Scene category is like "omfgzz dinasours and cupcakes!"

Being scene is more about going with whats cool at the moment. When its cool to be straight edge, scene kids will claim thier undying support for a drug free lifestlye. When that gets old and someone decides the cool thing to do is smoke weed, scene kids will smoke weed.

Scene kids dress less depressing than emos. Scene girls wear hollister shirts, skinny jeans, converse shoes, and pearls. Scene guys wear girlpants, tight shirts, long messy hair, ect.

Emos in a modern sense, listen to depressing music and are ususally depressed themselves. The clothes are simmilar to the scensters, but emos wear mostly black shirts, and on ocassion a band shirt. Ocassionaly, really depressed emos will cut themselves, but its not as rampant as people think.
