I'm a bridesmaid in a wedding that's about a month from now (July 21st).
My biggest worry is my tan. I'm pale, but not like albino but I don't look like I spend a lot of time outside. I don't wanna use self tanners but I may have to do that. I've never gone tanning at a tanning salon, and people are telling me to start going now. Should I?
And does anyone have any suggestions for those things that instead of using a razor u like put this stuff on your legs and it keeps the hair off for a few days...??
I want to look good for both the rehearsel dinner AND the wedding.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT start in about skin cancer. I already get enough of it from like every other person I ask about the tanning thing.

First off one time at the tanning booth will not create cancer, and it probably be the most effective. Just don't do it again and repeatedly afterwards.
But since you're so pale, it might make you burn and orange.

Yes...You should go to a tanning salon. It would help and in order to be tan for the wedding, you would need to.

Get a spray tan!!
There are no harmful uv rays and it's faster than having to go back to the tanning salon several times. You can either go into one thats kinda like a shower that sprays you all over or you can get a professional to spray you (they can even highlight certain parts of your body to make you look more toned!!).

Laying out and laying in the tanning bed can both give you skin cancer alabama_chick.
Anyways, I would go to the tanning beds.
I would also use some of that Jergans tanning lotion.
It heps your tan along within a week.
It doesn't make you streaky, splotchy, or orange either.

unless you want to be orange, DONT GO SPRAY TANNING.
if you don't tan easily and you aren't exaggerating being albino white, i'd suggest going to a beach bum and signing up for like a month of tanning at the diamond bed level. It'll work for a tan but I wouldn't suggest you keep going because of cancer and what not.

Do you not pay attention?
I just said I'm not albino white. I'm just plain pale. A little color but not a lot.

Personally, I do not recommend going spray tanning at a tanning salon, because my mom did it a couple of days before the wedding and by the time of the wedding she was all spoltchy and looked kinda orange.. (poor mommy lol)
Now, about tanning beds... my sister does that all the time.. what happens is you have to go a few times to look pretty tan.. but if you dont do it right you could end up being really burnt and look horrible (my sister had that happen to her.. not a pretty sight) but i think a tanning bed is something you need to try out before.. and see if it works before the wedding like a couple weeks before just in case..
ok now moving on to what i use.. because im a pale girl also (my whole fam is) I know you said you dont want to use self-less tanner.. but i use a rly great kind that isnt splotchy and doesnt make me orange.. and I rlyy like it its.. Neutragena self-less tanner.. with instant bronze.. and how it works is you put it on everywhere and rub it in and instantly ur like rlllyy tan.. and orange and it freaked me out at first but wut that does is let you see where your putting on the tan, so its even and then basically you have to sleep in it.. and then take a shower in the morning and all the gross orange bronzer comes off and you are beautifully tan :)

gradually start your tanning booth visits, and buy an spf tan extender. those keep your tan in place for longer if you want to keep your tan after the wedding and not have to go to the tanning salon that often. they have a great product by true blue spa thats called "hold it right there"

Waxing or get nair/veet. i personally havent used nair or veet but i have had my legs waxed and that will keep the hair off your legs for a while.

if u stay in 2 minutes and go every other day it'll be fine. you can start to go in for a minute longer after each week.
you wont go orange if your overdo it, you'll be slightly red/pink, like you would if you stayed out in the sun a little too long.
