stuck close meaning you can't twist off the top to the barbell? that happened to me and i had to get pliers to get a good grip on it to twist it off.

try latex gloves, grab each end and twist opposing ways, are you twisting the ball off the right way? (I've done that a few times before...)

I'd have someone else try to get it off.

I second the latex gloves idea...

Haha, yeah, I'm having a similar problem.

I can't get these stupid studs out of my ears.

I'm glad you have too

Claire's are a bugger to get piercings. Might aswell do it with a rusty leather punch

I don't usually approve of shoplifting.... but claires .... I'll make an exception

Yet I still go in there to look for hair clips and shoelaces.

Yeah, Claires is horrible for piercings. I got mine done at the Piercing Pagoda (not much better) and thank god I didn't get an infection. I think the piercing gun is what causes the problem, puts the back on too tight.

do yo have one of those little eyebrow jewelry looking barbells (forgive my lack of professional term, it escapes me at the moment)?

if so the same thing happened to me with my helix piercing. it's always safer to have a professional remove difficult jewlery, but i was able to do it myself with two pair of needle-nosed pliers, the kind with the gripping grooves on them. take one pair and grip the back of the barbell, then grip the front with the other pair and twist each plier in the opposit direction of eachother. it would be helpfull to know whick way the ball screw off. this may take a few tries and don't expect to have usable jewelry afterward.

my jewelry was way to scratched up to put in my ear, but that happends sometimes when a ball is left on a barbell for a long time.

good luck

p.s. everyone who got pierced at claires, this may be a ligttle late, but you shouldn't be pierced with a piercing gun anywhere! especialy the cartalige, you could seriously shatter it. a professional needle piercing is much safer and less painfukll believe it or not. a piercing gun is the equivelent of a crush injury becasue the studs arn't near sharp enough. also then can't be properly sterelized. wouldn't it suck to get hiv or hepitius from getting pierced at clairs?

a ring got stuck in my rook piercing before. i had to bust the wire cutters out. it was a 16ga, so it was pretty damn thin...easy to cut through.

No, that's not it. I got mine done with a sterilized gun, and had to take the backs off a few days later, and they came off just fine. After a few months though, that's when you have a problem.

Anyway, I got them off, I just had to wear gloves to help get a better grip... and to spare my fingers.

(BTW, I don't need a speech on how horrible the gun is. I'm aware. Thanks.)
