No, the original was 10000x better, it was more child appropriate, and (in my opion)Gene Wilder looked like roald dahl's orginal wonka, Depp looked kinda weird.
And the Oompa Loompas were diffrent people, not the same midget digitaly reproduced with a greenscreen.

The chocolate room looked much better in the new one though, so I'll give it credit for that(and the exploding doll things).

the ring and ring 2 were actually pretty scary for me...but maybe that was because i watched it w/ a friend who has a well in her basement (where we were watching it)

Well, as for the '90s, Jurassic Park two & three sucked arse pretty badly.

Hands down the worst movie of the century was Ultraviolet. Did anybody see that? I watched for 20 minutes in theater before I walked out. I have never walked out on a movie, but Ultraviolet was that bad!!!! They should have called it Ultracrappy!

Maybe I am being unfair but Id say the worst movie is going to be the BRATZ movie that MTV is playing comercials for. I hope its just a movie on their station because it looks awfull.
