On Thursday I'm getting my belly Button pierced, i'm so nervous but really excited because I just want to get it done and over with.
Any advice from people who have theirs pierced, like how long does it take to heal and can I swim at all this summer?

i got mine done nearly two years ago now! it doesnt take that long too heal at all,, however mine took longer because my brother punched it! :( yeh you can swim this summer. it shouldn't really annoy it!! just remember to clean it well everyday with salt and water!

i hav mine done didnt take long 2 heal i changed mine after a month. Yer u will b able 2 swim.

You shouldn't really change it for at least 6 months as it prolongs healing, although they feel healed pretty quickly they take a while to properly heal due to the stress of it being in an area that moves around a lot.

My little sister has had hers done and she was nearly cryin with it, but then her best mate had it done at the same time but she didnt feel a thing :eek2:

I got it pierced so it's all over now and it didn't hurt really that bad but thanks for your guys advice
