View Full Version : Girls: Results with ab work?

Have you found results with ab exercises? I do 5 sets of 15 crunches including side crunches and normal ones, with 20 pulses of each exercise after each set. I try to do this at least 3 times a week. I have been doing it for bout 3 weeks now and not really seena difference. I suppose you could say I'm slim with not much actual fat on my stomach so should the muscle tone be showing by now?
Does anyone have any better exercises that actually work? I really really want to tone my stomach!
there is this crunch machine at the gym, i have no idea what it's really called but it like uses resistance while working the abs, so it's like twice the work out. i've only been using it a couple of weeks but i can see a difference in my abs already.

I try to do 400- 600 crunches a day.
200 twisty-side crunches.
Also cut back on food. Lift weights less than 5 llbs [unless you wanna bulk up].
And i use this bike machine. Its ghetto tho.
I started this like last month and ive lost about 10 lbs.

200 twisty-side crunches.

Firstly, you wont bulk up if you lift weights over 5lbs, 5lbs does NOTHING for ANYONE.
Secondly, all that doing horrendous numbers of crunches does is fuck up your posture.

I used to do a ton of crunches and I had really hot abs...but then I got all fat. and theyre gone...lol
I think you have to do the crunches like every day for like months...lol
