don't go straight from brown to blonde...I did and my hair was like electric highlighter yellow. I hated it...so I tried to dye it back brown and I got green. make sure to go to a good hairstylist that knows what he/she is doing.

Blonde would look stupid. Your skin tonings are too dakr to have blonde because its not tanned skin as such... its olive. Tanned has a yellow base so does blonde.. I suggest you go to a light ash brown, dont add blonde highlights it will look silly.

You will need to use a permanent colour, preferably go for one with an asian on the box. also, try aim for an iredescent colour... Feria have some good ones designed for asian hair and with the shimmer.

If you go blonde your hair will be orange, your hair will also fry and go like chewing gum on the ends.


If you stay in the 6 ranges preferably 6n or 6c you should be fine

I had my hair bleached to whitish blonde year before last for a newspaper photoshoot & had it that way for a while.

I finally decided to cut it off end of last year cuz its really troublesome to upkeep. Apart from touching up the roots, you gotta use a special shampoo to maintain that colour & you gotta use conditioner and shit cuz otherwise the hair looks pretty bad.

If you've got dark hair, it might take some effort to maintain the colour cuz it might otherwise turn orangey or strawberry blonde ... thats what I was told anyway.

Btw.. if you're planning on going full on blonde, I suggest not washing your hair for about 4 days. Let the grease build up on the scalp so when you get it bleached, hopefully it'll protect your scalp or something... that was the exact instrution the hair person told me.

I would say maybe go for more of a honeyish shade? not very blode at all--that'd look very unnatural.
