So, I chose the red dress, and here it is. I'm so excited, I can't wait for prom.

My question is, should I do my makeup like it is in the picture? I kind of thought something simple would be better because the dress is so fancy, but do you rhink I should do something more dramatic with it?

Suggestions please!

PS don't bother telling me my pictures are bad, I already know this but I was home alone all weekend.

Um wear your usual eye makeup and foundation then had a hint of blush and violia : D

you should curl your hair, itd be so pretty!
if you can afford to get extensions, thatd be hot, too.

i thought about extensions...the other day in the mall i was accosted by the korean ladies who run the hair accessory kiosk and they insisted on putting them on me, and it just didn't look right.

i know my hair doesn't look good in the pics. i just can't do anything with my hair so i'm going to get it done.

as far as make up..
try some ruby red lip stick with gloss on top or just ruby red gloss. =]
you have what seems to be a paler complection with dark brown/black hair.
like me. =]
and red lip stick looks great on people with that combination of skin and hair color.
in my opinion.
but yea my only suggestions are..
1. maybe a diff color eye shadow/foundatio naround your eyes? it seems to be a diff skin tone there then the rest of your face.
2. ruby red gloss.
3. springy curls for your hair.

i think that'd look splendid. but might be more than you want
if that's the case,
just fix up the skin around your eyes a little and though on some gloss.

Since your dress is so eye-popping, don't wear dramatic lips. NEVER have dark eyes with dark lips. If I was you, I would do a gray-toned smokey eye, then a nude gloss. Play up the eyes and leave the lips neutral.

Im not sure I like the dress, kind reminds me of a sleeping bag with the square bits.
if you like it then thats cool.
keep your makeup simple, wear simple jewellery too and I agree on hair extensions.

I'd change your eyes..make them more smoky
And more blush/highlight your cheekbones

the eyes= dramatic.
lips= gloss //chapstick
blush/bronzer
i think your hair would look really cute in curls.
with your bangs straight.

Yeah, it's a size 12, I'm a size 4 or 6, but they said it would take 12 weeks to order my size, so they're resizing it for me.

I don't really like that dress but if you do then that's what matters...

I'd say your normal makeup but with a bit of a brighter eyeshadow...
