The past tells your future
The future are only dreams
The maybes of life
Thoughts are only hope
Escaping from fear
Yet, fear is hate
Hate is to dislike a person strongly
Being curious means to question faith
Believing in something greater than yourself
Greater than yourself means put yourself under something
Bing under something means your not on top
And when you are not on top
You are a nobody
Being a nobody means your life sucks
And honestly everyone's life sucks

sorry, man. this is not poetry. this is one of the most awful attempts at a poem I've ever seen. Expressing yourself through writing is a great thing, but when you suck at it this bad, maybe you shouldnt show it to a lot of people. completley terrible. have you ever actually read any poetry (and emomusic lyrics dont qualify as poetry)??? and maybe read the dictionary or buy a thesaurus bc your word choice blows too. maybe poetry isn't your thing. actually, im sure it isnt.

the thing is, it's not a poem. its just rambling. for one, you need to use words that aren't do bland. maybe throw in some symbolism and metaphors. just writing down that your pissed off or sad isnt a poem. u need lots of work. try reading some poets like Baudelair or Blake for inspiration
